What is the Universal Kids Resort in Frisco, Texas?
The new Universal Kids Resort is a 32-acre kids resort being built in Frisco, just north of Dallas. It opened in Summer 2026 and is one of the most family-focused theme park resorts Universal has ever created.
Unlike traditional Universal destinations, this one's built entirely around younger children. Everything is designed to feel manageable, colorful, and interactive, with seven themed lands, a 300-room Universal Kids Resort hotel, on-site dining, and easy transport access.
This is a full destination built to compete with major Universal theme parks and even some Disney destinations. It sits within the Fields development, close to major roads like the Dallas North Tollway, making it easy to reach from across Texas and beyond.
