What is Adventures by Disney®?
Adventures by Disney® is Disney’s guided-tour brand, designed for small-group travel across some of the most popular destinations around the world. You travel with two Disney-trained Adventure Guides who handle all the details, so you can focus on enjoying the experience.
Trips typically include around 35 to 44 guests on land, with larger groups on river and expedition cruises, all with the same level of Disney service and organization.
This isn’t a traditional Disney vacation with theme parks or rides. Instead, you’re exploring places like Ireland, Japan, South Africa, Peru, and Australia, with carefully planned itineraries and unique experiences built in.
These trips are designed for families but also offer adult-only departures, with activities that keep children engaged while giving adults time to enjoy the destination in their own way.
Six Ways to Travel with Adventures by Disney®
Adventures by Disney® offers six different trip styles, and choosing the right one can make a big difference to your overall vacation. Each option is designed around a different pace, budget, and type of experience.
Short, city-based Disney trips lasting around 3 to 4 days, ideal if you’re short on time or want to try the experience before committing to a longer itinerary.
Escapes
Even more condensed, usually two nights, and often added onto a wider Disney vacation.
Short Escapes
The most popular format, running between 6 and 12 days and taking you deeper into a destination with carefully planned itineraries and premium hotels.
Land Adventures
Where You Can Go
Adventures by Disney® operates across roughly 50 itineraries worldwide, covering destinations in North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and beyond.
Trips include places like Alaska, Yellowstone, Costa Rica, Peru, Italy, Iceland, South Africa, Japan, and Australia. Some itineraries are seasonal, so planning your trip around the right time of year matters.

What You Pay
Adventures by Disney® pricing is per adult, based on double occupancy, and varies depending on the trip type, destination, and travel dates. Below is a realistic snapshot of starting prices based on current itineraries.
Children aged 11 and under usually pay slightly less (around 5% below the adult rate), while anyone aged 12 and over is priced as an adult — something to keep in mind if you’re travelling with older children or teenagers.
Booking early, travelling off-peak, and checking current offers can all help reduce the overall cost. A travel agent will also monitor pricing and help you take advantage of any available savings.
