Dream Big Destinations is a women-owned, family-run travel agency based in Rockwall, Texas, helping families plan dream vacations and bucket list trips across the world since 2017.
We’re a full-service agency with a team of 70 travel advisors (and growing), and we’ve spent years helping clients turn ideas into real, well-planned trips. Whether it’s Disney, Universal Orlando, cruises, or Caribbean all-inclusive resorts, we focus on making the entire planning process feel simple and easy.

Meet Ashley Deets
The Person Behind Your Trip
Hi, I’m Ashley Deets, owner of Dream Big Destinations. Here’s the short version of how this all started.
My husband, James, founded Dream Big Destinations back in 2017. At the time, I was already working as a travel agent, and we kept coming back to the same idea: there had to be a better way to help families plan their trips without feeling overwhelmed.
I loved the planning side and working closely with clients. James had the vision to build something bigger. So we combined both and created Dream Big Destinations, a business built around real support, firsthand experience, and genuine passion for travel, not just bookings.
My journey in the travel industry started through the Walt Disney World College Program, where I worked as a Cast Member at Disney World. That experience completely changed the direction of my career and gave me a behind-the-scenes understanding of how Disney vacations truly work from a guest perspective.
Disney has also been a huge part of our family story over the years. James proposed to me at Cinderella’s Royal Table, we found out we were expecting our first child during a Disney trip, and we even chose one of our daughters’ names while walking through the parks together. Our youngest daughter visited Disney for the first time at just six weeks old, so these destinations hold a lot of personal meaning for our family beyond just business.
Nearly 13 years later, I’ve planned thousands of trips across Disney destinations, Universal Orlando, cruises, and all-inclusive resorts. Over time, you realize it’s not just about where you go; it’s about how the experience feels when you’re there. Whether that’s stress-free theme park days, relaxing cruises at sea, or waking up to breathtaking views you’ve only ever seen in photos, those moments matter.
That’s what we focus on at Dream Big Destinations. Not just booking vacations, but helping families create trips they’ll remember for the rest of their lives.

Our office is located at 229 Vernon Drive in Rockwall, Texas, just east of Dallas near Lake Ray Hubbard. We’re proud to be part of the local community and to help families plan trips that fit into real life.
We regularly work with clients across the DFW area, including Rowlett, Heath, Forney, Wylie, Plano, Frisco, and beyond, as well as families across the United States.
